We can rebind and recover your Bible using a 4-5 oz

OLD SADDLE BULL HIDE.

This leather has a very rustic look to it.

One of the things we really like about this hide is that though it

comes in a very even brown color, it will darken the more you

handle it from the oils in your hands transferring to the Bible -

much like a baseball mitt. This happens to this hide more than the

others because this is an oil-based hide.

Because it is oil-based, we require that you have a Hand-stitch.

Though we do our best to extract as much of the oil as possible,

this oil-based hide can sometimes cause a slight resistance to the

industrial adhesive we use. Though it would still be very hard for

the cover to come off, we want to make sure it never will.

This hide has a more smooth, thin feel to it.
